This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which bookings made through Pier-to-Peer may be canceled, rescheduled, or refunded.
By booking a pier through our platform, you agree to the terms below.
Guests are eligible for a full refund
Guests are eligible for a 50% refund
Bookings are non-refundable
Same-day cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable
Failure to arrive at the scheduled time is considered a no-show
Piers are outdoor environments, and weather conditions may vary.
Unsafe conditions (lightning, severe storms, high winds):
Booking may be rescheduled or refunded at Pier-to-Peer’s discretion
Light rain or mild conditions do not qualify for refunds
Final determination of unsafe conditions is made by Pier-to-Peer and/or the Host.
If a Host cancels a confirmed booking:
Guests will receive a 100% refund
Pier-to-Peer may take action against Hosts who repeatedly cancel
In some cases, guests may choose to:
Reschedule their booking instead of receiving a refund
Rescheduling is subject to Host availability.
Pier-to-Peer reserves the right to issue refunds, credits, or reschedules outside of this policy in situations including:
Safety concerns
Emergency situations
Misrepresentation of a listing
Technical or booking errors
All decisions are made at the sole discretion of Pier-to-Peer.
Payments may be handled through third-party services (e.g., Venmo, Cash App) during early operations
Refund timing may vary depending on the payment provider
Pier-to-Peer is not responsible for delays caused by third-party services
Service fees may be non-refundable, depending on the timing and circumstances of cancellation
Any exceptions are determined at Pier-to-Peer’s discretion
If a dispute arises:
Guests and Hosts are encouraged to resolve issues directly
Pier-to-Peer may assist but is not obligated to mediate or resolve disputes
By booking through Pier-to-Peer, you acknowledge that:
You have read and understand this policy
You agree to these terms prior to completing your booking
